eBooks Can Help You Sell

eBooks Can Help You Sell

eBooks are a great way to promote ANY product. When coupled with a nice squeeze page, they are an Internet marketer's dream. Why? Simply because the most valuable information on the Internet is information itself.

For most, this is not news. But what are you doing with this information? Are you using it to sell? What if you could give away a valuable product, something you know about, for FREE? What if you only had to work on this small project once and be able to profit from it for years, maybe even decades to come?

This is all very, very achievable. And while I will never condone spam, the use of a variety of eBook marketing techniques are invaluable to the savvy Internet marketer. The simple formula -- give something valuable away for free and win potential customers forever.

Things you Will Need:
  • Items to promote
  • A good Squeeze Page
  • A quality eBook
  • A reliable Autoresponder
  • A Wallet
How can this possibly be achieved? A good place to start is the advice from Internet prodigy, John Chow. And while the broken English he uses on his website is often humorous, he is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and successful Internet marketers out there. Follow his advice for a popular affiliate program HERE.

And when you are ready to write your eBook, drop me a line.

Revenge of the Nerds

Credit: MailOnline
Microsoft, Yahoo, AOL Step it Up

To some it may seem like the nerdy kids are trying to exact revenge on the two schoolyard bullies, but to Microsoft, Yahoo and AOL (they're still around?) it's about to get real.

According to MailOnline, the three demigods are joining forces in an advertising blitz they hope will topple the two towering giants of the industry-- namely Google and Facebook.

How they hope to accomplish this may just be one of the most daring tactical challenges ever attempted. Are you ready for this? The charging trio says they will band together in a focused effort to sell... less desirable advertising space at a discount!

Brilliant!

Online Alarm Keeps Home Office Humming

kukuklok.com
Do you ever get distracted? I know I do. Working from home has a lot of advantages, and study after study has shown that the majority of work-from-home employees are much more productive than their traditional counterparts.

And why not? No "water cooler" talk, no leaving for lunch, no desk interruptions...
But what if you work on multiple projects? Wouldn't it be great if something were there to say... remind you that it is time to shift from one project to the next?

Enter: one of the coolest websites ever --  kukuklok.com

It's simplicity at its best. Go there. Figure out how many projects you have throughout the day and split them into periods of time. Set an alarm. Work.

What could be simpler? Just work away. When the time comes to shift from one project to the next, the website will alert you with your choice of a rooster, a clock, an electronic noise, a military trumpet, or a slayer guitar (my personal favorite).

Google Thickens the "Goo"

Google has done it again... Used to be all you had to do to rank on a search engine was crank out any old copy and tuck in a few keywords. And until about February of this year, that was largely true. But the ever-evolving "Googalgorithm" is a much smarter beast than you may think.

Keeping up with the times (namely Twitter and Facebook) Google's goggles have upgraded their prescription again. The newest set of Google lenses have now broadened the focus to include content that is what the company calls, "up-to-the-minute."

Google says it still plans on being the leader for searches for all content, even older info. The article states that Google's primary intention is to keep up with the flood of newer and newer content hitting the web daily.

Virtual Tradeshows on the Rise

Tradeshows are expensive. They also can be a logistical nightmare to host and/or attend.

Wouldn't it be great if you could pull one off for say... $50,000 to $100,000 cheaper?

And what if you didn't have to wait in line at airport security? What if you never had to stand on your feet all day? What if you didn't have to jump through all the hoops for power, shipping, setup, and more?

What if you never had to smile until your lips cracked, feign laughter, buy another round of shots, and lose your wallet? Heck, what if you never even had to leave your house?

PRWeb eports that virtual tradeshows can save you all this trouble and more.

The article notes that some basic attributes to look for in virtual tradeshows include the audience size and characteristics, type and frequency of outreach to attendees, event duration, pricing, and services provided. But are virtual tradeshows effective? Much of the article is based on the findings of a white paper written by GreenExpo365.  You can download this white paper for free, and if you plan on doing any tradeshow business this year I suggest you do.

One interesting tidbit pulled from this paper -- "64% of marketers cite the ability to reach a larger audience for less money as the top reason for participating in virtual events."
